Default Tank Positioning

Hi,

Just read another thread on this point - but didn't have my question answered..

I have some flexibility as to the positioning of my Saito FA40S on the model I want to fly -0 what is the best position - centre of the tank level with the 'thrust line' of the engine, higher, lower ??

Many Thanks

The centerline of the tank should be within 3/8" above or below the spraybar of the carburetor. This is the optimal position.

The spraybar is the thing that crosses the carb throat (the opening) when you look down into it. The high speed needle and fuel inlet attach to one end. If the carb has a two-needle adjustment system, the low speed needle is on the other end. The throttle arm is on the same side as the low speed needle.

Thanks a bunch - much appreciated. I should be able to get it on the nail dead on line with the spray bar - just nervous at running my first ever 4 stroke.!!
