Hey guys I have a tt46pro that will not transition no matter what I do. I first thought the low speed setting was to rich and i leaned it up ( about 2 turns, in 1/4 turn inc.) That made no diffrence, so I richened it up tha same way, and it only ran worse or not at all. The high speed needle works just fine. After the transition the motor purrs like a kitten. Any quesses?
Thanks

You really didnt supply enough information. When you say that
"it will not transistion" what do you mean? Does it stumble and
sputter when you advance the throttle? Or just suddenly die?
The first is usually from a too rich low speed needle and the
latter is from a too lean low speed needle.
First thing to always do when you have engine problems is
put in a new plug. The TT46s like OS #8s. Might just be a bad plug.
If I was to guess (and its a wild guess) I would say your
low needle is too rich. Thats usually the case. You probably
just didnt lean it enough.

Your adjustments are way off. Getting a smooth transition will still not mean that its dialed in properly. Its a "cat & mouse" game. If you make an adjustment on one, you need to adjust the other---many times to bring it all together. If you can get it to idle, remove the fuel line and listen to the rpms when the engine stops. If the rpms increase as it quits, low end to rich, if the rpms just go down and quit, low end too lean.
I set mine for very slight increase---but each time you make an adjustment onthe low end, you need to readjust the high and check it again. You bonuce back and forth until it comes together. It can take a couple tanks of fuel. I usually set my low ends only once in any given season if its done right.
