Just wanted to find out if anyone has had luck with a soft mount on a ys 110 other than a hyde. The install is on a harrier 3-d and I dont think I have the room for the hyde mount, it is hard mounted now but shakes pretty hard at idle. Thanks

This is surprising to hear because all five of my YS 110's are hard mounted, and all five idle as smooth as silk. Is your prop balanced?
Here is one example of a rock solid idle at 1400-1500 rpm (no vibration): [link=http://www.warbirdobsession.com/h9_corsair/videos/SlowIdle.wmv]YS 110FZ Idle[/link] - WMV, 25 seconds

Right now I have tried to idle from 1900 to 2500 is is rock solid it will idle all day long, maybe it is just the build on the airplane it is a rather light. It is not that I think the airplane will tear its self apart in a weekend of flying I was just trying to extend the life of the plane long term. Thanks
