Default Exhaust system for Saito 72

Does anybody know if there is an alternative exhaust pipe for this fine engine, ie one that can be concealed under the cowling of a 1/5 scale tiger cub, as opposed to the one supplied which sticks out the side like a flag pole.

Yes Slimeline makes one. The &2 has a "80" cylinder on it.

Jasson:

Jim means the "72" has an "80" cylinder. The FA-72 and the FA-80 do in fact have interchangeable pistons and cylinders, as well as the valves and valve springs. and rocker covers and...

Also, from the FA-56 up to thr FA-100 the engines can all use the same exhaust parts. If you see something you like for any of these it will work with your FA-72.

Bill.

The 65 through 100 are all the same size, 12mm

The 50 and 56 are 10mm

Enjoy,

With this little device from Saito, you can run the exhaust straight back....

Saito also sells flexible pipes.

You're right. You caught me.

First mistake this century. Errr, would you acccept this year? Maybe just today?

Haw.

I like that "Slimeline" though. Reminds me of the ACLU.

Haw again.

Honest, that was a typo. I didn't mean it that way. You caught me.

But I've seen others do that on here before but I knew what they ment.

Enjoy,

Jim
