Dave, right up 395. North of Ridgecrest and south of Bishop. We have a dry lake to fly on, and when that is flooded, there is an old abandoned military airfield near the internment camp at Manzanar.

You're always welcome Dave. Bring some friends too; I sure could use the company. The only month that pretty much guarantees good weather is October. The rest of the year, the wind can come up something fierce without warning.

His testing was to being paid by a major fuel company.--Don't forget the cost of his service along with the 10,000 in motors & fuel.
I know one thing -- He tested the motors a in such a harsh way it is amazing any of them held up.

Very revealing though -- many of of them held up very well -- 400 hrs is not to be sneezed at. I know which ones I would avoid, based on that test program.

I have a OS 160FX with over 16 cases thru it and it is still going strong, it does need a rear bearing. So I don't understand how he could not get them to run.
We don't know who paid him. I find it hard to believe a hobby fuel company would go thru that kind of trouble.

He had a very bad experience with the 1.6's--and poor performance.
I don't think he breaks them in like us. All my OS's have been very good to me.(knock on wood) I don't run them hard though. My planes are powered such that I don't go to full throttle very often and when I do it is only for short periods. I don't run them lean, am careful to run them dry end the end of the day and always inject after run.

My rear bearing is so loose I was getting radio interference. I called Boca yesterday and ordered a set of SS bearings for it and also my Enya 1.55's.
The main reason I was inquiring about Dr. Nitro was to post the longevity of the Enyas in the Enya thread.
I would like to know how the gas conversion Enya 155s are lubricated, this is from the other thread. I know they are pressure fed but I don't know what regulates the flow of oil or how it is pumped.
