Default Moki 1.8 help

Hello all, I have a moki 1.8 that I just rebuilt, new bearings, ring, carb, needlevalve, the full deal except the sleeve, will I have to go thru the full breakin procedure again since its a new ring only and not the sleeve too?? any advice would be appreciated, By the way Justengines is the way to go, I ordered my parts and had them in hand in a little over 6 business days. awesome guys to deal with!!!!!

I think I remember you posting on this engine a few weeks ago, yes Justengines is a great guy to deal with. He is the guy I get my Moki parts from.

I'd say you need to go through the break in process to get that ring to form to the cylinder. May not take as long since the cylinder is chrome and that is the part that is that hardest to wear down. But yeah, really rich at 6500 WOT for 2-3 minutes, then let it cool down for 15 minutes. Repeat for a gallon and it should be ok to fly slightly rich. That's what I would do anyway. Stay away from lean running and use some castor like Omega 0-5%. I like Omega 0% FAI myself. The engine sounds/runs the best on this fuel.
