ASP engines good price??
Just looked at the Just Engines site in (UK) and they seem to hae some pretty good prices on some (same as Magnum/SC) mainly the smaller ones 12, 15,21s the 4 stks??? maybe a better deal from hobby people or tower here on them martin

Time you paid shipping across the pond, you wouldn't be any money ahead. Also, those prices are in Euro's. Convert it to dollars and the price is higher than what's on the page.

There may be confusion on looking at the prices?
To people in the USA contemplating ordering from JE. To determine your cost, you subtract off 12% and multiply by the 1.74537 exchange rate. This gives you the price in USD. Then shipping is around $13. The shipping is still about the same for two engines. Therefore the USA $ price will be about 1.5 times the £ amount shown in the catalog.
They were exceptional values back when the exchange rate was below 1.4.

If you want to find a good place to shop for Magnum/ASP try www.himodel.com shipping of engine to the US by EMS/USPS type shipping is NOT expensive. I got the ASP 52 2C for about USD65 only. It runs happily on 5% nitro. I throw a APC 12x4 with ease, a 12x6 is no problem too.

Don't forget to add the 3% fee the credit card company adds for international transactions, and that for most countries there will be no local company providing warranty service.

Yes, but they can't do USD transactions in China. Anything bought there will be charged in RMB and then subject to the international transaction fee.

Did you buy from them? That's a terrible rate. They're going to get people twice, once when converting from USD that's shown on the web site and again going from RMB to USD when the transaction is going from the Chinese (government owned) bank to Visa.
