A 4 stroke engine to start with?
#27
I have three OS fourstokes and they have all been running good enough for flights after only two tanks of fuel.
Yes, the machining and overall quality is better than Magnum, but a friend offered me a brand new Magnum for a very good price so I bought it.
The .70 is heavier and will bring up the wingloading, but is also considerable more powerful than the .52.
Don't know about hovering on the .52, I don't fly like that
No need to check the valves on your fourstroke until flown it a few hours and/or it's loosing power, it's all in the manual and easy to check, don't worry about it.
IMO the .52 is a userfriendly and good fourstroke to start with. Go for it.
