Default OPS .60 drum / piston placement

Hello, I have an OPS .60 and for the life of me, can't remember where the carb induction is to be located in relation to the piston.
If I am turning the engine over. Is the carb supposed to close when the piston goes back to top, or does it close off when the piston comes down.
So as the piston starts to go back up, it closes off the carb???

Thanks

The carb opens up, when the piston starts up, easy to remember.
