Don't have the engine yet-will take a look when I get it. This will be my first Webra-are they as touchy to dial in as I have heard?? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi!
Touchy..???
No, No! They are very sweet running engines , very easy to set and run!
Only needs 0-5% nitro! Do not use any more nitro than 5%!
Rossi 3 glow plug works perfect (thats the original plug, though it's called Webra 3 by Webra) Enya 3 or OS 8 will work good too.
11x6, 11,5x6, 12x4, 12x5 APC prop for most sport and scale applications.
Some pictures on one of my Q-500 racers using the Webra .40 GT engine, which in practise is the same as the Webra .50.
Regards!

Thanks Jan-looking forward to trying it out, I've heard a lot of good things about them. It's going on a Paul Swany Burrito profile-4.5 lbs. Should be a 3D monster

In the US, Webra mufflers begin at $50 and go up.
Rather than spend that much for a stock muffler, I would contact Performance Specialties and buy one of their Ultrathrust mufflers for the Webra 50.
I just bought one from them for my Rossi .60. Nice.

Older webra are the wider super tigre size. And a $15 tower muffler holes can be filed wider to fit flange spacing. Use RTV sealant on exhaust surfaces.

I have an Ultra Thrust on a Webra .50 in my WM Dago Red...
Nice boost in power, a little over 15,000 w/ apc 10x8 on 15% (and a few subtle sleeve mods )
Pulls that airplane around surprisingly well
