Hate to start another which engine is best but have a question. In multi-engine are trying to ID a twin I picked up.Not into small engines at all but it was there,Presently use mostlyOS Saito and K&B.Anyway this thing has small mounts even and OS 20 doesn't go into them but they have plenty of room will probably change as they are inverted so probably replace with side mounts for a 20s type engine.Due to an expected short life span hate to spend lot on engines!I know am a pessimist!Any way looking for RELIABILITY and low price would sacrifice preformance for these 2.Any suggestions?Never flown twins and seen enough to know necessity for reliable running engines.

moodier,
Have you considered the OS 25LA engines? I have had two of these and gotten good results. One thing to check on the LAs though are the screws that hold the back plate on the case. They use a composite material for the back plate; I don't know if the material creeps a little or they just don't tighten the screws enough.

Hi!
If you would like to fly a twin.. i would recommend a OS LA .25 or LA.15. These engines are very reliable and most important ...they are light..lightest of any engines of the same size on the market.
I have flown a Kyosho PBY Catalina for many years and so have a friend of mine and we both use OS .15 engines and they have performed beautifully. I use 5% nitro and 15% Motul alsyntetic oil on my OS LA.15´s and run APC 8x5 props. Glowplug are OS 8.
