If you have ever ran a weedwhacker or a chainsaw, you already have the experience required to run a gasser.
The Moki is a viable option, although they are not generally as reliable as a properly set up gas burner.
If the model you have selected has the available room and can handle the weight, a magneto equipped gas burner can ease the transition. Although, anyone with enough sense to operate a glow engine won't have any problem adapting to a gas burner with electronic ignition.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

The expeirience needed to run gas engines is nothing to be afraid of, The few of the guys at my field are gassers and ive watched them set them up, and the problems are minimal, but go with a good gas engine, like Zenoah, or Brisson, many more but dont try to save money buying a cheap gas engine, it will save you alot of frustration.
