I flew my Magnum XL 15A Combat .15 plane for the first time today, and found that I needed a spinner or an acorn nut. The instructions I have say the crankshaft thread is M6, but the crank appears to be M5. Am I going crazy, or what! It seems incredible that the instructions have a misprint. What do you guys find the thread on the crank to be?
Thanks,

Tower Hobbies lists the prop nut size to be M5. It's the same as the OS LA .15.
I've used an acorn from the local hardware store that costs about 35 cents as a prop nut required by r.
How did you do in you're first combat session? Loads of fun I hope.
And how did the Magnum do for you? I've switched to OS LA .15's and like them alot.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Hopefully we will try our luck at combat this weekend. I finally did convince myself that the shaft was M5, and found an old spinner nut that was close to M5 and tapped it out to 5mm. Works great! Let's hope the weather cooperates and allows us to try our luck at combat. I have never done it before, but am looking forward to it.
