I had read some great comments from RCU on the PSP test stands so I decided to place an order for one from their web site. I tried calling PSP and emailing them to find out the status of my order, but have not received a response, in fact the email address posted on their web page is no longer valid. The message was returned due to a 'permanent error'. Has anybody else had issues with this company or know if they are still in business? I would hate to think that I am going to be taken for the $79.
Thanks,
Mike

I've ordered twice from them recently and received prompt and courteous service, in fact there was a one day delay in my second order and they called and apologized and sent it Priorty mail and it came the very next day. I plan to order some more fuel jug caps soon since they are of such high quality.

Thanks Dave,
I was hoping that they were just out for the holidays or something to that effect. It just caused some concern when the area code for their contact number and the contact link on the web page are both not correct.

I have placed several orders with PSP, and have nothing but praise for the folks!
I had trouble reaching them about one of my orders, they phoned me at work, and rushed the order to me also!
Nice folks, and you will really like your purchase!

I think it is better to order by phone. I tried to contact them on their web site for almost a week no luck. Then I telephoned and talked to the nicest lady and placed my order. The order came just as they promised.
Think about this. I and some friends had already decided this is the best engine test stand on the market. However the price is steep. So the 4 of us pooled our money. Twenty dollars each. The test stand is everything we thought it would be. And it makes testing engines really easy and safe. I have included a photo of how we mounted the Test Stand. Had the unit about two weeks and tested many engines one was a Moki 1.8. The stand is very easy to work with. We did not mount the stand in the ground on the pole. Look at the photo.

Hey, I recognize this one! I actually own 25% of this beauty (I think it's the SW corner in the picture). The test stand is a real gem. The only mod we made was to mount the tank farther back to allow a little more working room when we were testing the larger engines. Having the "test stand" mounted permanently on the board which is then clamped to the top of a roll-around table saw is the ultimate in convenience. It puts the engine at an ideal height for adjusting, etc. and having the ability to move it into the shade/sun/under the garage walkway as appropriate makes it usable in almost any weather. When we're finished, we can stand the board and test stand in a corner of the garage until we need it again. (It also allows each of the 4 "investors" to take it home with them if they so desire.) So far, it has worked out great! The actual test stand is first-rate all the way. You will not regret your purchase...

Well I finally received a call from PSP with the status of my order and an apology for the break in communication. My stand should be here by the end of the week. I have a Saito 180 just waiting for fuel, and lots of it from what I understand.

Yikes! Lee & PatrickJ, that's one heck of a "worktable" your PSP is fastened to.
A short while after I moved down here, I had a rude awakening when I found out just how easily my table saw's cast iron table rusts in this Gulf humidity. I've learned to keep it well waxed and oiled, but still... it looks like it'll rust if I so much as sneeze on it.
I put my engine stand on a sawhorse built from scrap 2x4s. It gets soaked in exaust grime allright, but I can always scrounge up some more scrap 2x4s.

I to have found the test stand very user friendly, as you may see in the attached photo showing a simulated inverted installation.
I have plans to make an adapter for 360 degree positioning, to allow tests for all installations.
Happy New Year!!

just in case anyone is interested this is the engine stand I built, maybe not as pretty as what you can buy but it was a heck of alot cheaper, under 7 bucks. As you can see in the first pic on the floor is differen't mounts for differen't engines. The fron't plate comes right off with 4 screws so it is very fast to change.I have had many motors on this stand and it will take any size they make.
