Default engine disassembly

I'm going to have to take an engine apart for cleaning. What's the minimum that has to come out of it for an anti-freeze boil? What has to come apart to get the piston and rod out? This is a 75 Tower 2 stroke. Expo said that

For a antifreeze job you can get by with removing the head and back plate and the carb.

The remove the piston you will have to warm the engine up and push the cylinder sleeve up and out of the engine so you can work the rod off the crank pin

If you've never taken an engine apart before, you might want to enlist the help of one who has for the first time. BE SURE to note the orientation of all the parts as you remove them. If a part won't come out easily, STOP. There's probably an easier way. Be careful with those pliers.

And don't "boil" it, simmer it on low for 10 or 12 hours.
