I am a total newb! but i have done my research and i originaly wanted the HPI Nitro MT.. But after a bit more research i think the racer is more on the lines of what im looking for!
The problem is this kit doesnt have an engine and ect..
so thats why i am here! to ask you folks what engine and other parts you think i should purchase for this car!
I really dont wanna spend TO much but i want alot of power/speed.
The use of this car will be mainly offroad but all round use.

I have a MT RACER and run the OS CV_R .12 engine and it screams and is easy to tune . Make sure and get the one with the Rotary carb as the slide carb is more for road use.

Hey thanks for a reply :P
what speeds do you get with that?
i was planning on getting a pretty good .15
thanks for the tips!
is the rotary carb and side carb a big deal?
i have no idea about any of the engines so links info tips everything is better then nothing!
Thanks!

A .12 engine is normally more power as these engines are for race requirments and are more fully developed than .15 cause they are not ROAR LEGAL. tHE COST OF THE cv_r IS LIKE $95 FROM TOWER HOBBIES. Sometimes to musch power has negative effects on users who do not know throttle control like gunning it around corners and all they do is spin out all the time. Yes rotary carbs on these smaller enginges is better for low end throtlle transition and making smooth power.

O i c.
So the cv_r is a good engine? and its a .12?
what mph do you estimate that could give?
i might race, but i am not 100% sure atm, i think it would be really fun..
at the moment i want the best engine for this car so i can get as much speed as i can
is their an car engine website i can check with all the details?

You can get the secong one with a rotary carb if you prefer.
Regardless, I would get a .15 instead of a .12 for a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
Have fun!!
