I'm just getting into this hobby. I own an Alpha40 and looking forward to my next plane. Is there anywhere in this site that discusses the basics of glow engines. Particularly, discussions around the assets and weaknesses of the various manufactors/models within a certain size category.

I have less problems with OS engines than any other brand and thats the ONLY engine I will run in my helicopters where reliability and confidence in the engine is paramount.

walk4718, there are dozens of engines, some cost more, some cost less. OS is a good place to start but by far they are more expensive. An equivalent Thunder Tiger or Super Tigre cost less and performs just as well. There are many of us strongly opinionated in this hobby. So keep asking those questions and keep reading the "glow engine" topic area. You have only just begun!
