Easy guys.

Just thought I would mention. I decided on the Moki. I have nothing personal against MDS. I may try an MDS one day. Heck, Horizon gets the money either way. They are the US distributor for both brands.

For the plane I am building, the Moki 2.10 is likely to be one of the most popular engines. This will result in more available information on set-up - mostly from RCU. Also as luck would have it, several of the guys in my club have experience with Moki engines. This eased my concerns about getting the engine set-up and running well.

If you have a tough time with your Moki, then get a Perry VC-30 pump. The 30 bucks for the pump is well worth the hassles you may face without it. However, there are a number of Mokis out there running well with no pump, but you may find the performance increase worthwhile.

Thanks for the reminder. Just ordered the Cline regulator or Proportional Control Fuel System or PCFS or whatever you call it. I plan on drilling out the clunk as well. I really don't want to deal with fuel draw problems.

Will, let us know what carb you have, whether the square one with the machined surface on the front or the one with MDS cast into the front and I'll check out my most used one and give you the settings on your style carb.
