Default Cold Blooded Megatech 46

I have a cold Blooded Megatech 46 that runs like a Scalded Dog once you get it started. I do not know what to do to get it to start easier. It has fuel but you have to keep the starter on it for a long time until it gets warmed up enough to run on its own. I have tried fox Miracle plugs but that was not the solution. Any Ideas?

Your plug is too cold.

Use a OS A-3 or a Enya #3

OS doesn't make a #3, Use an OS#8 or A-3. I would use the Enya #3 myself.

Grinding away with a starter just keeps pumping fuel through the engine. if it slightly flooded all this does is aggravate the problem. Short bursts with a starter is a much more effective method.

Assuming your fuel and plug are good (and that the glow starter heats the plug enough) then the only trick is getting the engine primed correctly. This means drawing some into the carb but then spreading it around into the cylinder. The engine should just start to sound slightly "wet" when it's primed correctly. It's a bit of an acquired art admittedly but you'll know you're there if you hold the prop and turn it over and feel a "bump" when the mixture fires.
