Default Pull Start Blues

I HAVE A MACH .15 THAT THE PULL START WILL TURN THE MOTOR 1 REV THEN SLIPS. WHAT CAN I DO? DO I NEED A NEW ONE WAY BEARING? I HAVE LOOKED AT IT AND THE SHAFT THAT RUNS THROUGH THE O/W BEARING HAS A FEW SCOFF MARKS ON IT...WHAT TO DO....WHAT TO DO....

Have you kept your o/w bearing lubed? If not the rollers may not be sliding enough or if not lubed they may be ruined by now . I use white lube (Lubriplate) in my big engine spring starters once a year & have never had trouble yet. big max 1935

Default Pull Start Blues

I just had the same problem today with my losi xxx-nt with a mach .15 engine. I had to replace the one way bearing and now it works fine. It wasn't cheap but I am going to try and get losi to send me a new one for a backup.
