Default Need cast aluminum rails

I want to build a engine test stand. Does anyone know where I can purchase cast aluminum engine rails about 3 1/2" long and tough enough for a 1.80 engine? I need individual rails so that I can move them together or apart for different size engines.

Why not just buy one of the commercial metal engine test stands from J'Tec? That's what I use. My Super Tigre G2300 and OS 1.60FX engines did not begin to challenge the integrity of that metal mount and it is inexpensive at $37 and some change at many places. Not only that, but I've ran engines as small as a .15 on that mount. You may have to make up some special clamp nuts (low profile), etc. But that is a piece of cake for anyone with access to a bench grinder/cheap grinding wheel.

I hope this reply was helpful. If not, tell us all where it didn't meet your needs so we can zero in on the answer for you.

VMAR makes an adjustable stand for about $19 I am not sure the max size it will do. The only complaint I had was filing the engine clamp mounts so they were 90 degrees.
