Gasoline in a Nitro Engine???

If you convert the glow plug to ignition and modify the carb for a different fuel to air mix and still run 18 to 20% oil content (no roller bearings on the con rod), it will run just fine. A lot of trouble I think.

Why would you want to when the OS was designed for glow, there are small engines that are designed for gas or diesel, www.Mecoa.com has small gas engines that would probally serve your purpose. Oh yes it is possible.

Waaaaay back in the late '40s when Ray Arden first developed the Glo Plug, we would run Ohlssons and Forsters on a mixture of white gas, SAE 70, and Nitropropane! They would run, but were very sensitive to the needle valve. Then we started using metal tanks, went to Alky and Nitromethane and never looked back! Why take a giant step back? If you want to use gas, buy an engine designed to use gas. Just my honest opinion.
