Leave the baffle in . Just take a grinder and widen the vents and grind every thing smooth.

I take the baffle out and then, slowly, a little at a time, drill out the exhaust tube on the muffler so it has a constant ID. Yea, it IS a little more noise, but the RPM's are what I'm looking for.

Do what you need to do to make your situation best.

I remove the muffler, remove the baffle and toss both in the trash. Then install a $12.99 Tower muffler for a 600-900 rpm increase.

I use a moosecan muffler on my TT46, much more power than stock, and about 1000more useable RPMS than tower muffler,

You can build you moosecan for about $25.00

If your interested look here on RCU for them and you will find a ton of info.

You will pick up a little rpm with removal of the stock baffle, more with installation of the tower muffler as it has a small tuning effect. The performance specialty muffler I am told is slightly better yet and close to a tuned pipe in performance. For the money the tower is great just make sure you locktite the rear nut.

Default more rpm's

On my TT Pro 46 I use the towerhobbies muffler, 15% coolpwr, 10/6 apc, and an os #8 plug. I get 15000 rpms on the ground, but,,..,.,.,.,,,.,.,. with that kind of rpm, my engines will not last forever..... I would try the mouse can pipe, but i am sooo lazy, where can I buy one...do they have a mouse can arf?? lol
