Hi
I am having problems with a YS140 making bubbles between the pump and carb. Can anyone assist or point me in the direction of a suitable forum?

Glow engines, manufacturers support, YS Engines. Post your question to Dave Shadel, he normally will give you an answer within a day. Make sure that you tell him all the pertinent information like what fuel, what plug, what prop etc.

Yes by all means go to the YS help forum but all YS engines produce bubbles between the pump and carb, I have been told that's why they use the blue fuel line, so you won't notice it. I have 2 - .63's and a 1.40, they all do it but it does not affect the running of the engine.

Thank you both.
I will proceed to the other forum. My motor seems to be making exessive bubbles, eight stroking and sounds real harsh at idle now compared to how it was. Tuning idle etc makes no difference, and is erratic. It also leaks fuel out the intake.
My mistake has been to continue using the plane without solving the problem as it does work perhaps to 80% of its original standard. It never stops on me and makes full power. Due to circumstances I have only flown it twice in the past two years so I have put off fixing it.

I have a YS110 and thats the 1st thing I noticed while doing some breakin bench runs. I've had 8 flights so far with the new 110, and its never burped once ..... Greg
