Default Como 51 engine

By any chance would anyone know where I could get the parts to rebuild a Como 51.I have one that needs a Sleeve, piston, conecting rod, wrist pin and bearings.I know this is a long shot but it would be nice to get this thing runing again.

Super Tigre parts of the same vintage will fit as they are the same engine. Modern ST parts may also fit, I'm not sure that the design has changed too much over the intervening years! Worth a shot in any case, let us know how you get on ...

The COMO's I've seen or owned were of the "S" vintage of Super Tigers

Junk it -It's not worth saving if you need all those parts. They will be double the price of a new ST 51.

I think it would be ok with just bearings and a connecting rod.I also emailed ST and asked them if the parts were the same and they gave me a list of suppliers for replacement parts. They did that because of the disspute that split the company up I think.I thought the same that all of you are saying and I still think the parts are interchangeable. There's a LHS not too far from the one here where I live and this guy may have parts for it because he was a authorized service rep for several engine manufacturers. He keeps a large assortment of parts on hand.I have his number and I think I'll give him a call when he opens. Thanks anyway guys.
