There's a small screw on top of the carb with a spring under it. Loosen this screw some and see what happens? It is the idle speed screw. Most present day engines do not have this screw.

The COMO was made by Super Tiger. The parts are interchangeable with a Super Tiger the age of your COMO.

The new Super Tigers are coming from China with this screw missing.

Maybe the best thing for you to do is look up a flying club and ask one of the more experienced members for help.

It can all be explained here in the forums, but it's a lot better to get help in person, if possible.

Or, "...you'll shoot your eye out..."

The L shaped rod is the highspeed fuel flow adjustment, the low speed is directly across from it.

The "L" shaped rod in the older engines had a friction nut that limited it's freedom. You can adjust the nut to where the needle is just batrely movable so it doesn't vibrate out of adjustment

Hi all
excuse the crappy old carb in the pic but it's one I had handy.
Hope this helps.

The carb in the picture is an older Super Tiger carb, hopefully, like the one on fallover's COMO?

To hold the barrel at place in the carburator body.
