Winter break in
#2
I live in Norway who are cold in winter, can not hurt the engine while break-in the engine.. But it can make difficult to start the engine if the battery for glow plug are poor or too cold.

Heat the upper cylinder with a torch first and use a little lighter fluid in the carb to get 'er going. Some foil tape over the fins might help... Or, like motorboy said, just start it... OS's come with a pretty comfortable fit to begin with. Something like a squeaky tight Rossi, Jett or older K&B performance engine might need more attention but you should be OK with an OS.

The .91FX is ringed, correct? A ringed engines first runs aren't quite as critical as to ambient temp. (IMO
)
Is it going in your air boat?
If so, I would just cruise around for the first tank at a rather rich setting, then lean it out to a slightly rich 2 cycling mode for the 2nd tank, and after a few more tanks that way, you should be good to wail on it [8D]
