Ys .60? Exhaust?
I posted this in the manufacturers forum, but maybe one of you have some expertise?
The LHS has a rear exhaust ys .60 2 stroke for sale. I am having trouble finding info on this motor. I was going to mount it inverted on a H9 Cap. The only muffler I can find is a JTEC. Then I read a Thread that showed some concern about the motor being designed for a tuned pipe. Is this true?

Most YS 2-stroke engines were produced competition in mind.
However, you can always use standard muffler. Keep in mind that using standard muffler will not be running the engine at optimum level that it was designed for.
I ran some of my rear exhaust engines including YS 61s and lots of OS with long muffler for 4-stroke. Nothing hurt. They just didn't run as strong as with tuned pipe.
