Default Custom Exaust Info

I have a hydroplane that dosn't have enough room for a tuned pipe. Can I run a straight pipe to the back of the boat and then add some type of muffler? I don't race, just run the boats for fun so loosing a few RPM's is OK. I just need it run good, and tune easy with out it wanting to lean out. I know that too short of a pipe can cause an engine to have those types of problems. So it makes me worry of this will work. Thanks for your help!
