Jan, you may find this interesting, I converted my Dykes ringed .50 to Diesel operation today, using the stock muffler and a Graupner 12x7 it made 9,570 rpm
With the Graupner 12x7 and a Bisson Pitts muffler it made 9,950 rpm. I didn't expect that.
