Power from math formula(prop x rpm)
Hi friends..
I lost all of my papers.. somebody here knows the math formula to you get the max power of the engine when you know the prop model and the max rpm that your engine beats with this prop?
thank you in advance,
Matheus

RE: Power from math formula(prop x rpm)
ORIGINAL: pe reivers
Cxrpm^3xPxD^4
Cxrpm^3xPxD^4
Thank you very much.. but can you explain ? is it in mm or pol(europe or american measure type)?
C = ???
rpm = peak rpm, ok
^3 = (c x rpm )³ , correct?
P = the pass of prop? Then, 11x6 prop.. the P = 6, correct?
D= the diameter of prop? Then, 11x6 prop... the D = 11, correct?
^4 = (p x d)4 , correct?
Then, the correct formula would be: power = (c x rpm)³ x (p x d)4
is it correct??
Cheers,
Matheus

do not change or hash the formula by combining stuff. Use it like it is written. Power rules over multiplication. This is the general law.
C is a constant, that will contain all standard variables like different prop parameters and metrics or imperials.
