Will this work?
My Enya 25x carb is attached to the case with 2 screws on each side. The carb throat is threaded, (was) What is the best way to repair this?
Will running a screw all the way thru affect the performance? I have tried an 8-32 tap and that was no good.

Will this work?
I had a similar situation once...I used a 2-56 bolt w/ washers and a dab of RTV and didn't seem to make any differance in performance, but it was a .40...A .25 w/ a smaller neck I.D. might be restricted slightly, but maybe you could streamline the bolt a bit...
