I would better by a new head, or just old used engine from eBay. The price and troubles are in place with helicoils.

I agree, a Helicoil isn't the answer here. However, if you want to try it, the glow plug thread is 1/4-32 NEF (National Extra Fine). Take it easy on the pipe wrench next time. 1/4 - 3/8 turn after snugging the plug down is PLENTY.

Saitos don't have cylinder heads. It is a once piece cylinder unit. Clarence Lee does a good job at very good prices.

At 3/8th of a turn after snug it would be "good & plenty" stripped [X(] 1/16th of a turn
maybe

P.S. BLW's suggestion definitely should be the first course of action

Took the words right out of my mouth.LOL Clarence Lee does a GREAT job! I sent him the "head" off my NEW Magnum 91 FS and when I got it back a week later, I could not tell it was done, Great work! And at $15.00 , how could you go wrong?

Just send him the cylinder. I forget the cost (Reasonable) but it sure beats a new cylinder.
