Saito 180 Needle Valve Set Screw
Hi guys,
I have a Saito 180 and while making a high needle valve extension, I seemed to have lost the set screw for needle valve. Can anyone tell me what size it is so I can find a replacement? I'd appreciate all your help.

Ferocious Frankie, I just pulled the set screw from my .82. Assuming they are the same, the size is 3mm. It looks like the pitch is .5mm. A course threaded 3mm is .6mm so it's hard to tell for sure with calipers. It looked like 1mm covered two pitches perfectly. The back plate screw on an .82 is .5x3 so if it's the same size on a 1.80, you might try threading it into the hole to see if it is that thread size.

I know it's 5-32 because the wheel collar's set screw fits, but is too short. It looks like it is indeed 3mm.

I tapped mine out to 6/32 and used a short allen head machine screw; now I can tighten it properly. Make sure it clears everything when turned.
