Good day,
need some advice on a replacement Irvine 53 muffler. I've had some trouble with the assembly bold breaking a few times in flight. Apparently due to the extension piece expanding too much while the engine is running. The supplier I bought it from was kind enough to replace the bolt and muffler end-piece on two occasions. It happened again a third time, but I moved away before I could stop by and get another bolt and end-piece.
1. Does anyone know where I can find replacement parts for this muffler in the US (extension, bolt, and end-piece). Sig sells the entire muffler for around $38
2. Or, is there another muffler that will do the same which is sold for less? I saw some thread on RCU mentioning the Tower ??? muffler.
By the way, this little engine flies as well as it looks. This is it on my Stick:

I have a different muffler on mine. I think it's a
supertiger 45. Just measure the bolt spacing
and if another brand is the same it will work.
Try a search on E-bay and if you find something
that looks close, just ask the seller to measure
the spacing. Good luck

The irvine 53 Muffler shares the same bolt spacing as the following engines,
OS 46FX
Thunder Tiger pro 46
Tower 46
GMS 47
There are probably others.

 Thanks for all the replies. I decided to go with the Tower 46 Muffler. My new club has some noise restrictions, so max rpm does not matter now...
