Gene,

I have this plane and I love it. Mine has an Evolution 60 on it and it has all the power it needs. Evloution engines and very realible and easy to use. They are mid-range in price. $119.00 at the LHS compared to a OS 61 at $159.00. Each engine is very good and you won't go wrong with either one.

Good luck

Burr, the 4 Star begs for a 4 stroke, I have Saito .82 on mine, it is a perfect combination.

The Four Star 60 will fly fine with a broad range of engines.

From a OS70 or Saito 65 on up to a Saito 100 would be fine in the four strokes.

As Jim S says, his 61 two stroke has all the power he needs.

What is the real difference between a 2 and 4 stroke?

A two stroke engine fires every time the piston comes to the top of its stroke. They turn faster and have more overall power. they are simpler and cheaper.

A four stroke engine fires every other time the piston comes to the top. It tends to have more low end torque, run a little slower and is more fuel effecient than the two stroke. The four stroke has valves in the cylinder head like your car

They both use the same fuel and field equipment.
