I got to looking more closely over my .40 glow engines.
One of them has a stamped "P" in the front edge of the cylinder head.
What does this designate?

If you want any answers about K&B engines contact Clarence Lee, I know he used to advertise in RCM. He is MR K&B. I have a ton of older K&B engines, some pylon and one has a P on the head. It is a high compression head that was available for the older 40s. If it is the loop scavenged Torpedo 40 and says Torpedo on the casting then it should have a cast head. If the head has machined fins and a P it is a replacement and high compression.

He will tell you what you want to know about this engine. I prefer using email with him. I had some good exchanges and learned about the engines from his replies. He is a very nice guy and his prices are very reasonable. I have 2 spare sleeves and pistons that need porting and it costs next to nothing for the .61. I think the remote needle valve and carb is $32 shipped.
