Anyone have knowledge about converting a Surpass 70 to gas? The engine already has C&H Ignition. Seems like I've seen an ad offering a conversion kit.

i just today got a 120 surpass that has been converted to gas. don't know anything about it. i know it has ch ignition,a flywheel with another plate behind it with a linkage attached to the throttle,to advance timing, and a neat looking glowplug that looks like a spark plug on top, that is about all i know. the guy i got it from said it made alot more power on gas, then on glow. that remains to be seen. he also said the kit's components would work on a saito 120 as well. dunno.

Converting a four stroke glow engine to gas, you'll more than likely encounter a bit of a lubrication system, since you don't want to run 20% oil in your gasoline. Most convert to a mixture of glow fuel and gasoline, the percentages I don't know.
