Hello All!

I just wanted to drop a quick "Thumbs UP!" for Slimline's customer support! I was recently trying to test run a Saito 1.80 with a side mounted slimline muffler. The engine was shakeing so hard (Bad Tune, my fault.) that it broke the muffler support bracket. When I got every thing disassemble and cleaned up, I also discovered that the O ring for the exhaust port was also damaged....

Well to make a long story short I dropped a note via email to Slimline's customer support and a couple of days later Ron sent me an email asking for an address and that he was just going to send the parts out! (Bracket and O ring.)

Can't beat that!

I've dealt with Slimmline for about 18 years and they've always had the best support. This past year I was finishing a Goldberg Extra 300 (BIY kit) and had gotten a Slimmline Pitts from Tower, but the normal angle of the muffler outlets would require a lot of cutting of the cowl, when I called for advice they told me they also still had the "U" version of that muffler for the GB Ultimate and Extra, where the outlets were raked back 70dg. to follow the contour of the fuselage. They swapped the standard muffler for the "U" version for free[8D]
