Default Baffles

Im looking for some info as to removing the muffler baffles from the thunder tiger .46 pro and the OS .25,.40 or .46 FX or a .46LA !! I have all these engines and was going to bolt on the tower .46 muffler to the TT .46 pros for a boost in power !! But a couple of guys now talked about just removing the baffles was a power boost also ! minus the expence of tower mufflers !! I wondered how this effected the pressure line to the tank but they said they didnt notice any change other than the power increase .. I like power but I like to know I have a trusty transition also !! any info would be great !! thanks Guys

Default baffles

I have removed baffles from 2 of my engines. A 40 LA and a 46 FX and they both continued to run and transistion fine. I did notice an increase in power and an increase in noise. Power increase was about the same as increasing nitro percent about ten percent. The removal is very easy and keep the baffle, you can always put it back in if needed.

MM maybe I should try this ! I ordered 2 of the tower mufflers already ..but hey my lazy tiger with the .25fx could use some boost hahahah!! Our club owns 52 acres 13 miles out of town and it was classed as a airport for future building codes haha so noise isnt a factor here ! I agree about keeping the baffles though .. I gess its kinda like getting somethin for nothin as the baffles go ! thanks and i hope I hear from others about thier experiances also tons of thanks
