Default axial .28 idling problems

Everytime at half tank the engine idles very high at first then slows down to a point where it just stalls. I did the soapy water check for air leaks and found a small leak at the front sealed crank bearing. Dont know if that leak is normal or if it is aiding in the problem. Anyone have any ideas?
