i have an evolution engine. i have had a problem getting it to run at high rpm. it runs good at idle. when i power up it bogs down and stalls. the fuel is good. i can see small air bubbles in the fuel line going to the remote needle and from the needle to the carb. i checked the lines and there are no cuts. i i reseated the carb and put all new lines and those little clamps on them. i have not run it yet since i replaced the lines. i am going to do it during lunch. does anyone know if this is a common thing and if so what is the problem usually? i will post again after i run it.

Did you check the clunk line in the tank? A small hole in this line will cause your problem when the fuel level in the tank gets below the hole in the line.
Let us know how it runs with the new lines.

well with the evolution engine the setting are made so you cant really run it at a level the will ruin the engine. the guy at the lhs couldnt get it running right either. he said something was wrong. probably an air leak. it wouldnt shut down with my finger over the carb. works good now though.
