ello,
I saw the inside from an engine for the first time yesterday. Together with the president of the club and another member we disassembled an os 18cc. It had big time running problems last weekend so there had to be something big time wrong. We found out that the front ball bearing(crankshaft ball bearing)was wasted. This way the highest point of the cilinder was three millimeter(a bit less than 1/8 of an inch) lower than normal. That way, the engine had to run very hot , due to the lack of compression ( the excaust was black). So we changed the bearing and cleaned the engine. We fired her back up and she ran like a beaut.
