Default USD Value of NIB OS Max .40 2 Cycle

[8D]Can anyone tell me the US $ value of a new-in-box OS .40 2 cycle??
I believe that this version of the OS .40 was discontinued years ago.
Thanks.

I don't know other than it was classified as an OS Max .40.
I'll try to get more info.

OS has been making .40 size engines for the last 44 years, some are quite valuable and others not. The value of your engine cannot be determined without more info.

Try this and see if you can find your engine.

[8D]I'm trying to determine the value of this engine for someone else. This
person bought the engine 5-6 years ago with thoughts of getting into the
hobby, but never did. I'm now trying to get more specific info.

Come-on, Jerry!

You have been in RCU since 2002 and entered over 300 posts...

You surely know that saying 'an OS .40 two-cycle engine', is about as accurate a description as saying 'a man' to accurately describe the (current) President of the USA...

A reasonable quality photo should be enough for the guys here to tell you what engine is being discussed.

...Or a couple of letters from the name that appears on the box...

Just get these details and get back to us.
