I own a Seidel 540 (serial# 121) which has no collector ring or ignition. Engine is in like new condition mounted on the stand. I was able to determine that the prior owner mounted it on Great Lakes Bipe and ran it three times never completing the break-in period. Is this truly one of 250 built and what is it's approximate value?

You could always go fishing on *bay, Put a crazy reserve on it and see what it will bid up to. They're beautiful radial engines, I don't think I could part with it if it were mine.
