Smoke systems
I was wondering if anyone here has used crankcase pressure to power a smoke system on a glow airplane ?
Found an article by the FlyingPenguin which stated that smaller glow engines (.40-.91) could be used by tapping and putting a pressure fitting on the back crankcase cover and using engine pressure to force smoke oil from the tank to the muffler.
Anyone try this and what luck did you have ? Thinking about trying this-sound interesting !!!

RE: Smoke systems
I do it on 120 2 strokes and it works well. Not as good as gasser's but still lots of smoke.
