Default Magnum .91 Fourstroke Engine Swap

I've searched around the forums and can't find a thread that answers my question. I'm wondering what engines have the same mounting pattern as a Magnum .91 4 stroke. What can I just drop in to replace it? 2 and 4 stroke? I'm trying to get a list together for the buyer of my aircraft. Even if you just know of one, post it and maybe an extensive list will end up being generated. Thanks alot.

O.S. 91 should be an exact swap. The Thunder Tiger 91 is also a good swap. The only thing I've run into swapping an O.S. in place of a Magnum or the other way around is that the carb linkage may be off a bit. This applys to the 52's for sure. I'm not sure on the other sizes.

The Saito 100 also has the same mounting dimensions as the Magnum 91 four stroke

The Magnum 91 four stroke and the older OS Surpass I are also completely interchangeable with the carb linkage and needle valve positions

It depends on which way you turn the carb on the Surpass II but the idle needle valve can stick back farther than on the Magnum.

YS four-strokes (and two-strokes) are temperamental, like a camel. Treat them inappropriately and they will squirt liquid in your eye(s). <G>

Ed,
You forgot to mention, that if you treat them and feed them like they are intended, there is no four stroke on this planet that will perform at there level.
You do have to be literate, and have the ability to follow instructions though, that seams to be a problem with many engine tuners.

Some two stroke engines have the same mounting bolt pattern as the Magnum 91 four stroke:
TT 61 Pro
ASP 61
I'm sure there are a lot more but these are the ones I have first hand knowledge of. Obviously there is a difference in throttle linkage, needle valve, muffler, etc.
