What size of prop for my Saito 82?
I just bought a Saito 82 for my Astro Hog and am wondering what size of prop is ideal for this airplane/engine combo? Saito recommends on the 82 a 13x8, 14x6, or 14x8. I will probably be buying a Master Airscrew prop or a Zinger if that matters. Also, I currently have glow fuel with 10% nitro/20% oil and 15% nitro/16% oil. The Saito manual says to use 20% oil, but will either work or what is the advantages/disadvantages of either? Thanks for any advice!

G'day Mate,
I have a question for you, Do you think Saito, the company that made your engine, know what they are talking about?
If the answer is yes, then do as Mr Saito recommends. You can't go wrong.

I've run Morgan's Cool Power and Omega (17% oil) for years in my Saitos and both are among the recommended fuels by Horizon. Quality means as much as quanity sometimes.
For your Astrohog an APC 14x6 would work real fine but if your limited in your prop selection then the MAS 14x6 would work too.
