Default Dumb Saito Compression Question..Help

I have a brand new saito 62a. During my latest build, installing the mount and engine, I noticed that the engine has no compression. I have other Saito's and I've never had this problem before. There is a glow plug installed but it's never been fueled. I suspect a valve may be stuck open. I'm going to put some afterrun oil in before I tear into it. Anyone had this happen before?
Thanks

A Saito can feel like it has no compression if the throttle is closed. Does it feel the same way when you open it?

One of my Saito 91s started in reverse for a few moments then stopped - this in itself is nothing new but this one had no compression afterwards. Eventually I stripped it down to find the problem and found a bit of the PTFE tape I'd used for the exhaust thread had been sucked back in and was clogging the inlet valve open. Simple to fix but a bit worrying at the time.

Perhaps something similar going on with this engine?

Yes BLW, I tried it both ways and nothing. I'm going to pull the rocker covers off and take a look. I like to drop some Marvel airtool oil (Great after run) down the lifter tubes before I do a break in run. I shattered a cam gear before during a breakin due to a stickey rod.
I'll give a couple of shots into the glow plug also and see what happens. It's probably nothing and I jumped the gun in a panic. I just never had this before and I have about 10 Saito's.
I let you know how it turns out.
Thanks,
Bob
