I mounted my 80 Saito FS on it's side, in a hard landing which broke the landing gear in turn which tore loose the muffler out of the cylinder case. A small part of the threads also broke out, it costs more to replace the cylinder head than almost a new engine, mine only has less than a gallon of fuel thru it, so it's almost new. We built the missing threads back in with JB weld, only have one flight in so far, it has held up till now, anyone had experience trying this as a fix.
